About Meg Boswell CMC JP AFCC

I have been a Marriage Celebrant for more than thirteen years. In that time

I have married many couples from overseas and from other parts of Australia as well as many local couples and I have gained a broad expeience of the legal documentation needed for different situations.(particularly for non residents of Australia and for second marriages.)

Before I moved to the mid north coast of NSW I worked as a manager in the community services sector of the NSW Government and then full time as a celebrant in Sydney for several years.

During that time I worked to develop the skills needed to make sure that all the ceremonies I lead are meaningful, memorable and exactly what each couple wants.

I was appointed by the AFCC to the Federal Government body that developed the Training Standards for marriage celebrants and I have trained new marriage celebrants and conducted Professional Development courses approved by the Australian government.

I enjoy working with couples who want to find ideas for making their marriage ceremony unique.
I have many suggestions for places for ceremonies.
I love conducting marriages for 'blended families" and have suggestions for including the children.
I also enjoy helping married couples with ceremonies to Renew their Wedding Vows.
I conduct Commitment ceremonies for same sex couples who wish to formally declare their love and commitment to each other.
With my husband Jim I conduct very family oriented Namings (Name giving ceremonies)
