Welcome to Celebration Ceremonies.

I have been a Marriage Celebrant for some seventeen years. In that time I have married many couples from overseas as well as many local and interstate couples. I have a wide experience of the legal documents needed for different situations, particularly for non-residents and for second marriages.

In Sydney I worked as a Manager in the Community Services Sector of Government and then full time as a Celebrant for several years before moving to the mid north coast of New South Wales.

I was appointed by the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants to the Federal Government body that developed the Training Standards for marriage celebrants and I have trained new Marriage Celebrants. I have also conducted Professional Development courses for Celebrants approved by the Government.

The Ceremonies I lead are designed in collaboration with each couple.

Types of Ceremonies

• I enjoy working with couples to find ways to make their ceremony unique. 
• I have many suggestions for venues for ceremonies. 
• I love conducting marriages for blended families and can offer ideas for including children and other family members in the ceremony . 
• I also enjoy helping married couples to plan a Renewal of Marriage Vows ceremony. 
• I conduct Commitment Ceremonies for same sex couples who wish to formally declare their love and commitment. 
• With my husband Jim, I conduct very family- oriented Namings (Namegiving ceremonies)
