Planning Your Wedding - part 1. 

Your Marriage Ceremony is the centre piece of your wedding day.  It deserves at least as much planning, thought, time and preparation as the other aspects of your wedding day.

  • It is when your promises are made.
  • It is when the legal contract is completed. 
  • It is when you stand before your family and friends to declare your love and commitment to each other.
  • It is the reason for the clothes and cars and all the other preparations.

A marriage ceremony can be very formal or very relaxed, but its most important attribute is that it should reflect the personality of the couple being married.

  • It flows smoothly. 
  • It maintains everyone’s interest. 
  • It remains very personal and intimate from start to finish. 
  • The music and poetry complements the promises and the setting. 
  • The leadership provided by the celebrant is warm and inclusive. 
  • Everyone present feels part of a very memorable event.
