MARRIAGE CEREMONY POEMS

The poetry in these pages was written by Jim Boswell for Meg to offer (with other poems) to couples that she marries. They are very popular because they speak especially to our times and are about  Australian relationships.

The poems are copyrighted © and must not be published without permission.    

However, because they are very popular with wedding couples, you may use any of Jim's poems at marriage ceremonies on one condition:  
Authorship must be publicly acknowledged.
At the wedding say something like this:-
"This poem is by the Australian poet, 'Jim Boswell'  from New South Wales."

 A Sample of poems written by Jim specifically for individual families is also on this site. These belong to the families for whom they were written and are Copyrighted and must not be reproduced in any format.

Jim has written over a hundred poems for Naming Ceremonies.
The parents complete an Information Sheet about each child and the poem is written from that information and the meaning of the names being honoured.
