 Jim Boswell is a retired management consultant who had a parallel career as a singer and entertainer. He has written many articles for business and edited business journals as well as poetry and songs. Jim's Marriage Poems are popularly chosen by couples that Meg Boswell and other Celebrants marry. (see Poetry for Weddings) Jim also writes original poems for Naming Ceremonies. Original Poems for Naming Ceremonies This is a unique service available to clients who arrange their Naming Ceremonies with Meg Boswell.
Jim has written more than 80 original poems commissioned by families for Naming Ceremonies. How Does It Work? The parents complete an Information Sheet about each child and the poem is written from that information and the meaning of the names being honoured. Original Naming Poems: A sample of poems written by Jim specifically for individual families is also on this site. These belong to the families for whom they were written and are Copyrighted and must not be reproduced in any format.
